@N2DesignsInc Can the mobile start add on be installed on a later date if you already have the fob remote start?

...and another $35 for the programming cable you'll be using once. Not including any taxes or shipping incurred. And if time is money, reading the guide to ensure you load the correct parameters when flashing, installing the software, the dongle's USB driver, and trimming off/shrink tubing any unused wire leads on the harness may also take away from your savings (but add to your enlightenment as that to me is of value for sure)..And because you pieced it together, warranty support will be a struggle. Flashlogics/iData does not like to support Amazon or eBay customers.

The experience is def worth the money spent, if you like to tinker, but if you just want to be up and running, you have not really saved anything here. You've actually spent more with running the risk of no warranty. Just a thought...but you need to know what you're doing when piecing together a project like this, as it's not hard, it's also not for everyone.

Incorrect, no special cable needed outside of an old usb cable....and who would install anything like this if they don't want to tinker should certainly think twice. I really enjoyed the project because I want to know how things work. This was a nice step up from my headunit and MastreoRR install. I did not do it to save money but it came with excellent instructions on how to wire everything for various install options.

    Nothing yet. Just bought it
I installed 12volt solution plug and play about a month ago. So easy to install and it works great with my factory key fob. I have push start also. Highly recommend

Until you need help and email them and get no response. I felt great about my 12v until he would not help.

Bingo. Not for everyone, but for folks like you, it's the knowledge, experience and MOST of all the gratification when it works after you're done. This, I can RESPECT greatly as I am the same way.

N2Designs stands by their product. I had alittle issue with my n2design kit and Jimmy sent out a new unit for me. This new unit is working great. I would vouch for n2designs and their products. Fast response and great customer service. Thanks again @N2DesignsInc

Terrible sounds subjective for the h-key as mine works from 300 ft away. I went with 12 volt about 1.5 years ago and use it almost every time I start the truck.

No way you're getting 300ft with an OEM key, right? You must have some sort of extra fob?
I'm lucky if my stock key unlocks/locks from 30ft.

Yeah.. 300 ft line of sight with the Toyota regular fob. If there are obstacles it diminishes to more like 100 ft depending on the situation.

Do you use your head as an antennae? Stick the metal key portion underneath your chin and press the button. It actually works.

Youtube search: "key fob head trick".

Regardless of what kind of fob you have it should help. I do have the ol' school H-Key fob (regular key and fob.) Do you have the new push button start?

Looking at the N2 Design that they sell on Tacomabeast price is $199. Is everyone still happy with there purchase? This will be going on my 2020 with push button start. I dont think I'm going to do the app part since several places i will use it i dont have cell signal anyway.

Everything is but one wire. One wire on the vehicle needs to be cut (on DCM in passenger kick panel) and put into our easy lever nuts so you won't need more than a wire stripper to cut it, then strip half inch on the insulation before shoving it into our clamp connectors.
