Auto Zone has some sort of deal where you can download a copy of one Haynes Repair Manual. It won't get you a hard copy, but from what I understand, it is downloaded onto your computer.

Which VSV?

 

Check your local library. Mine for example they give me access to the Chilton's guides and it does tell you step by step how to remove parts.

 

I gotta admit they all Lack Something .

Factory Service Manual if your just starting quite a few of the first steps they figure as a Tech you know so skip

Haynes the wiring section leaves much to be desired.

I like all Hard Copies I lose to much of the online stuff.

There is a TTORA post that was up a long time ago that still has fsm's for our trucks, I believe it has a 1996, 2000, and a 2003 fsm. It is through wayback machine, can help you to get to the page you are looking for.
