Looking to replace my headlight housings on my
2011 Tacoma but don’t want to do a bunch of wiring, looking for the best plug & play headlights that you’ve used and would buy again. Thank you.

Are you looking for the lamp or the whole housing? Regardless OEM. I got OEM takeoff (housing) at a reasonable price. I use Hella lamps. Pure plug and play, whiter light, lasts years.

I’m looking to replace both housings, getting foggy. Just want to find something GOOD that won’t leak in a year.

I got a deal on Toyota OEM housings. People do conversions. The bargain aftermarket housings I’ve used leaked in a year or so.

That’s what o keep hearing is that a lot of the after market ones don’t last and leak. I like the look of them but not worth it if they leak

If they are just getting foggy, restore them!

I had to do my 2013 as they were also getting foggy. I'll have to do it again this year...

It's pretty quick and easy with a cordless drill :)

Note in restoring you remove the UV protection. Most kits come with a UV protectant coating, but it is not permanent. It needs to be reapplied at regular intervals like a wax, which is fine but just needs to be on the maintenance list. When the protection wears off, or if it was never applied, headlights become quickly worse in fogging/hazing than before the restoration. Many companies make headlight UV protection products for the purpose.
