I don't have much to comment about. I think they use rubber bushings

I went from rear OR stock Bilsteins, to Bilstein 5100s, to Fox 2.0 with reservoirs, in 5 months. 5100s don't damper any more than stock IMO. Fox are pillows.

Just speaking from my personal experience...I have extended travel kings at all four corners. One day I took my truck in for service and my shop discovered that, during my offroading, I had nicked one of the suspension shafts and it needed replacing.

If it had been bilsteins, i would have needed to buy a whole new unit. Since they were kings, they were able to replace the shaft, rebuild it, and have me back on the road same day for like $150.

That was about a year ago, approximately 3 years after I first got them installed, and haven't needed to service them before or since. Though now the truck mostly sits on weekdays and gets used mostly for weekend/road trips

Cool, at the end of the day high end shocks need maintenance/up keep and you and I are aware of that. And others are more set and forget. All are way better than what’s installed from the factory. By the way thanks for super nice put together kits and info documents/write ups in benefit of the community.

Yup, shit happens and that ones of the benefits of high end shocks and responsible owners. It’s like Toyota, they are properly put together it’s up to the owner to keep em in good shape.

Yea my truck now has a huge vibration in the front. The only thing I did was go down in size on tires. Ive got 265/75/16 General grabbers X3. Will a 285/75/16 fit back on my truck with out a 3.5 inch lift? Now I have to get the OEM cv axles and a new lift. I'm pretty salty about all of this because I feel like I made a mistake. I don't do any serious off roading but, I do some and haul my for wheeler trailer.

Yes 285 should fit, but you will need to trim the front fender liner, do a cab mount chop, and potentially re-gear.

I had 285/75/17’s but It felt sluggish without regear.

I would recommend to keep a lift less than 3in. Past a 3in lift things get complicated and expensive quickly.
