best rim size for my lift

    well... you said that you wanted to run a 285/70/17 tire so you have to get a 17 inch rim for that. the page you linked had 2, 17 inch rims and only one with a 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern. so that rim is what you have to get from the list of rims on that page :)

    4.75 BS with a -6mm offset should work fine for a 285 tire. there are a bunch of posts on this site about what all the specifications mean. you can search for them :)

    my personal choice, however, is a 16 inch rim with a 285/75/16 tire. with a 16 inch rim, you can get it in an 8 inch width. it gives you a little more rubber on the tire and it tucks the tires in a little bit more than a 9 inch wide rim would.
