I am on the island of Kodiak in Alaska. I understand it's costly to get stuff shipped here but 600$ shipping for a 600$ item is retarded. That's doable and understandable. I Fly to Anchorage once a month on a c130 so if it get's sent to a shop there, I can transport it back on a c130.

I just installed OPOR sliders from metal tech and really like them. Not too bad to install. Look good and have a step for my wife.

I only know of Kodiak, Alaska thanks to the movie The Guardian. How do you CG folks feel about it? Typical Hollywood embellishment, or somewhat accurate? Curious minds want to know.

Dude! It's mid January, most of us are either covered in snow or soaking in rain, and here you stroll in, posting photos of trucks on beautiful, sandy beaches with sunshine and butterflies. Way to kick a man when he's down, yo.

    BRB, moving to Hawaii.

We laugh about it....The swimmer school is nothing like that. Mind you it, is the very difficult and I have had good friends fail the school. After training, they are very good at swimming and sewing... The rest of the Aviation Schools are on the same base so we see them all the time, running and stuff.

Na.. All the swimmers are meat heads haha. I am a Avionics Electrical Tech.Funny thing is, I did the airman program in Michigan before training. I had to pass the swim where you wear a flight suit, weighted vest, and boots. Swim something like 100 yards or so.. Anyhow the Chief swimmer was a big guy, round like Santa. He could lap all the 6-pack "Muscle head" guys.. Last post on this lol. Don't want to derail the thread

Fat does float. Anytime I go scuba diving, the bigger guys always need more weight on their belts, otherwise they don't sink.

@jrlin718 how are these? I am looking at the RCI as well, were they straight bolt on or do they need some drilling?

We will most likely be running a memorial day sale, but we have not planned yet which items will be included.

If the sliders are on the Memorial day list, I'm in.
Pro, double cab with DOM tubing.
I just set myself a reminder to check :)

Warm weather, but enjoy the humidity and $10/gal milk.
