Compared to what I’ve seen from other companies, I preferred SDHQ’s rear mounting solution as it offers robust bracing for the rearmost part of the slider. I’ve not seen a slider with such substantial bracing support rearmost. Most frame attach points I’ve seen are before the end of the slider, some leaving around an entire foot or more unbraced at rear. SDHQ’s rear frame attach point is as far back on the slider as physically possible, actually up on the frame into the wheel well.

Honestly if i had to do it again, i would of looked more at a slider that also works as a step. Also, order on a black friday type sale. It helps ease the pain of the big purchase.

The CBI sliders that I have also give you the option of adding plates, which work as a step!!

I shopped around ALOT and decided Westcott Designs out of Arizona had what I considered the best options. Have a look.

There is good and better when it comes to material used for sliders.
True, nothing is indescribable. Here's a copy of a paragraph noting 2 major differences

The main difference is strength. HREW (hot rolled electric welded) metal is milder steel, which is still plenty strong, with a yield strength of 40ksi. DOM (drawn over mandrel) steel is the same material which does not have a welded seam, with a yield strength of roughly 70ksi.

They absolutely are. Looked at these up close on a buddies truck and they are art. It's been about 4 weeks so far and the site said 8 when ordering, so hoping I get them sometime next month. The truck looks so unfinished without them.

RCI is my local fabricator. So that kinda works out. Their shop is amazing, absolutely spotless, well organized. Guys are super friendly.

    Check the TTORA Garage Section....
On my old Gen1, I had CBI bolt on kick outs.
My thought is, if you can use your sliders as a Jack point or use it as a pivot point, while you wheel… well I would vote for CBI.

I love Mobtown Offroad sliders. Zero degrees too, so the wife can use it as a step too. One of the beefiest bolt on designs I’ve seen. I know they aren’t around anymore but i have seen some of their used armor coming up for sale recently, so if you see any of their pre owned sets for sale, I’d still recommend them!

They used to outsource their powedercoat. Hence thw 8 weeks (or longer). They now do it all in house. :) This told to me by their guy on the phone when I ordered mine. Hope you see them soon!!

I made a map to fabricators in the US. I try to keep it updated the best I can.

I'm running C4 Sliders, couldn't recommend enough. They've been heavily abused and are still "rock" solid
