    Hey all.

    I thinking about the Sherpa rack height pack system. I’m a general contractor, I drive about 30k miles a year, mostly highway, and frequently enough pack lumber and pipes in my short bed. Been thinking about a ladder rack, But enjoy camping on week ends and thinking about getting a canoe for the family. And I live around Boston so rust is a concern.

    I’m curious if this is sturdy enough for what I’m asking? Will this be louder than a ladder rack? A sturdy ladder rack quickly gets as expensive or more.
