I vouch for the carhart covers…easy to take on/off and throw in the wash and durability so far so good…I bought this set used and like the broke in look.

I just triple checked and it doesn’t appear Rough Country makes seat covers for any Tacoma before 2016. Does anyone here have one for their pre-2016 Tacoma?

Trying to decide between Neoprene (Wet Okole) or syn leather (likely vinyl) options for my truck.. The leather looks good and might not get as hot as real leather, but probably still warm. I'm also wondering how much swamp ass I'll get from the Wet Okole's out here in the Texas heat.

    Advice?

Just so you guys know....Wet Okole will NOT sell you ONE cover or even repair a damaged one without the original receipt. I need to repair or replace my driver's side seat cover & since I bought them 5 years ago from another member here, I have no "proof". Even though the Wet Okole logo is printed on the seat. It's clearly theirs. Nope, they will only sell a front set. BULLSHIT. I told them that policy is absurd & that they are losing business. Pretty lame.

Sounds like their warranty repair / replacement coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. This is not uncommon.

Well, that's absurd. I'm not trying to claim a warranty. I'm happy to pay for a new cover or to fix the original. I'm not trying to get one for free. Still, they won't touch it. Even though their name is printed on the middle back section. They will ONLY sell a front pair & I don't need two. Very disappointing. There should be some type of exception. They are losing business.

I understand your frustration. You could buy a new pair and have a good condition spare in the wings. Or go with a different vendor all together. Good luck whatever you decide.

Having got them second hand at a discount in the first place I hardly sympathize with complaints about lack of service that wasn’t paid for.

Wet okole fitment is perfect, and you can customize everything about them. To wash them you leave them on the seat, so no need with the hassle of reinstalling. Carhartts look like a loose trash bag thrown over a seat and they fired their employees who exercised their personal health beliefs..

If you scroll up, literally 2 replies & actually READ what I said, you'd see that I'm not trying to warranty anything or get a replacement for free. I'm happy to pay for a new cover or to repair the damaged one. But, without the original invoice, they won't sell just one or even touch one to repair.
Fortunately, the guy I bought them from does, in fact, have the original purchase order & sent it to me. Try reading next time before chiming in with your "lack of sympathy."

Clazzio will sell a seat bottom or a headrest cover or a seat back cover and the color match is great

Sorry to hear that about Wet Okole; I've been running them for years in Tacos and other vehicles hauling kayaks and canoes and getting in wet is certainly part of it. They are washable in place but getting dark colors means less washing. I had some red ones that matched the Gen I Taco truck; they looked great but did show dirt.

Just giving you a hard time. I did read your first post along with those others who quoted you. It would be nice to be able to get individual replacement covers but I can see how they might not want to track or inventory them.
