Best shocks for 2nd gen Tacoma

Im thinking of replacing OEM shocks with aftermarket’s. Any suggestions that will give my truck a 2-2.5 inch lift and decrease the rake? I want to fit larger tires on it as well.

 

I’d recommend checking out Bilstein 5100s or Fox 2.0 shocks. I’ve had good luck with the Bilsteins on my truck—they give a solid 2-2.5 inch lift and handle rougher roads well, plus they helped with the rake. If you're planning to run bigger tires, you might also want to consider a leveling kit to get the stance just right. Just make sure the shocks and kit are compatible with your truck’s setup for the best results.
