I need to replace my shocks and I don't want a stiff ride. Every time I hit a little bump it's like I'm hitting a brick. Will the 5100s be a firmer ride or softer ride? I drive mainly on the road so that's why I want a soft ride. Any suggestions will help

5100's are more firm than a stock shock. Buy some regular OEM style replacements, Monroe Sensatracs or Gabriel's, nothing wrong with those, both great shocks for hock replacement.
