My (nearly) stock 2011 is making some new, concerning noises lately. I think the long-leaking LCA ball joints have had it.

I've done a lot of work on the truck myself (which could also be the problem ;) ), but I want to get some pro advice, make sure I'm not wasting money on aftermarket LCAs with serviceable ball joints. I'd also like to talk to them about building now for what I may do later (like adding a steel winch bumper, etc.)

Any recommendations for a shop with knowledge and willing to listen to me ramble about my truck?

Gene who owns it and runs the front desk is awesome to work and chat with. As far as modding your truck; you will get better input from TW with real world use as his shop is to get you running again. He works on Acuras, Honda, Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Mods and what not questions are more for this forum as what we do are unique to our trucks. The TW Colorado BS thread is a great source of that knowledge base to tap into.

If you end up replacing your LCA's I'd possibly be interested in buying your old ones.

That's why I'm asking here. I know a couple of good general mechanics. I was hoping for a 4x4 shop with some Tacoma mod experience.

thefatkid is a mechanic at Groove Toyota. If it came down to having anyone look at my truck to that detail he is the only person I would trust.
