best size and kind of tires

    ok now that i got what lift i should get out of the way was thinking about going with 286/65/18 nitto trail grapplers but was wondering everyones opinion on what kind and size of tires to go with on a 3" lift?

    Those are 33's, which are very popular for 3" lifts on tacomas. Just make sure you get 4.5" backspaced wheels, and be prepared to trim to fender well plastic.

    research man..... 285/65 is very popular and you'll have to trim quite a bit to fit them, as kpt said. 275/65 is the other main choice. a bit smaller, but better gas millage and no trimming needed
