I went with Mobtown. However why does no one mention cbi? Is the company just hype and no good products?

I dunno about CBI's products I but I tried ordering a set of sliders from them, lead time was like 10 years and they couldn't take over the phone orders - they told me to place my order online, pay for shipping, then ask for a refund on said shipping when I pick 'em up. Whatever lol.

Those are not rock sliders; they mount to the frame. Also, it looks like their site was built by a retired used car salesman.

Rock sliders all mount to the frame... I guess if it's mounted to both the frame and the body it should be stronger? But Idk, I'm no engineer.

    It's complicated.
Wonder if RCI will have Labor Day discounts on their sliders...?

Dog hair, metaltech 4x4 rocksliders, KBVooDoo bed risers, Smittybilt RTT, 3” spacer lift (Removed!), caliraised ditch lights, amazon rock lights, OVtune, Skewp
I got metaltech 4x4s on mine. I feel they could have machined them a biiit tighter on the frame, (and the shop i paid to drill the lower holes in the frame could definitely have paid more attention - their poor location causes noticable gap between slider and frame) —- that said i bonsai’d it over a boulder i didn’t see around 15 mph and came down hard on the slider on the shotgun side — bent the slider up less than a quarter inch, but would have absolutely demolished my rocker panel.
    Had just installed them too

And they work nice as a step

Had ‘em in stock near Portland, which is a bonus

That’s a bummer dude. Should’ve scrolled this thread a week or so ago.
