Whoa, there are too many options available please help for a light lift.

A leveling kit or 2-3" max lift is all I want for my pourposes. For tires I need to keep it sane as most of my driving will be city highway not off road. I wheel very little but when I do I like to have a little more clearance to play with. One size up maybe and not too aggressive for the tread pattern. Had the cookie cutters on a Jeep and it was brutal .

How bad is the gas guzzling with larger tires BTW?

I will add a hidden winch in the bumper and a better skid plate in the front so I have to compensate for that only, no ARB in the near future.

Suggestions for the BEST option that will not cause grief with the warranty if at all possible. I only have 100 kilometers on the truck so far. :canada:

Good Point, thanks for the feedback.

My current tires are 265 65 17 and the shocks are Bilstien, not sure the model of those, they are stock on the 2014 TRD Sport .
My stock tires are 30.6" OD, yours would be 31.65 which is 1 inch taller, 1/2" height gain. To be honest, I agree this would suffice for light off road, all I need to do is level the truck and compensate for the winch with a heavier shock.
How much did the gas consumption change ?

I don't mind a minor shift in gas consumption, it's the loss of over 25% that spooks me and that can happen with huge tires and differential ratio changes . Some vehicles are more sensitive. As I understand this truck with the 6 gets between 20-22MPG at best on the highway.

From what I am reading the 5100 Blistein shocks will give all that is necessary to level the truck. I'm also told that Chev 1/2 ton springs will
do the job nicely too. That has to be cheaper than the Blistein but, is it any better??
