It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
and strength. steel vs aluminum is no comparison. neither is right for everyone, depends on the intended use.

Way too many arguments for and against. Way too many threads that have already covered it. There is a GB on armor if you want it.

I don't recommend driving over a cliff. Just... probably not a good idea.

Steel takes impacts better than aluminium. If you're actually going to using your armour and pushing your rig, then steel will hold up far better than aluminium. I've only seen steel armour break once, while I've seen a lot more aluminium pieces break with ease.

There isn't any arguing the strength of steel, but I want to know what you're hitting to break your bumpers?

Thanks for all the great comments! We pride ourselves on offering a product that held to a higher standard of fit, finish and function! I understand the Canada dilemma, its expensive to ship there and the extra duties and taxes add up quick for you guys. Hopefully you can make it into the states to pick up a set sometime!

Ya, excellent fit and finish. Was shipped fairly quickly and packaged extremely well. They delivered it to my house. It did take the body shop 15 hours to install though. A lot of cutting and wiring. It came out perfect though. I have no worries of hitting a deer, it wouldn't stand a chance.

If you're in anything but a minor traffic accident, either one probably won't matter much because your truck will be seriously damaged.

Some of us use our trucks to do serious offroading and we hit things like rocks either going up or coming down obstacles. I'd rather have steel bumpers and skids and sliders than aluminum of any sort.

I've dropped my entire weight of my Xterra completely on my rock sliders and no damage at all. But they are DOM steel for a reason.

Would an aluminum bumper even hold up if you went to use a winch? You'd have to reinforce the crap out of it. And aluminum doesnt bend and recover...it bends and micro-cracks.

I had an ARB on my first gen and I will tell you they straight up destroy deer. On multiple occasions in my case.
