    NONE.....yet!
Per Crutchfield and many other websites in regards to JL 8w3v3:

    Details:

    • 8" 4-ohm subwoofer
    • mineral-filled polypropylene cone with nitrile-butylene rubber surround
    • power range: 50-250 watts RMS
    • peak power handling: 500 watts
    • frequency response: 28-250 Hz
    • sensitivity: 83.24 dB
    • top-mount depth: 4-9/16"
    • sealed box volume: 0.3 cubic feet
    • ported box volume: 0.35 cubic feet
    • warranty: 1 year
This info can be verified on JL Audio's website also:

    http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs_enclusure.php?series_id=27

The 8w7 takes .875cubic ft for a sealed enclosure.......but then you are also talkin about twice the amount he wants to spend.

My vote is for Sundown Audio. Less known, but extremely high quality and very high performance subwoofers and amps. I'm bias though.

There is a laundry list of subs out there that are amazing. There really is no best sub out there.
It depends on your application, your power, sealed vs ported etc etc.

    Raincity and SigGuy like this.

Soundqubed HDS208. The performance you get is absolutley amazing for a single 8. Its in a.75 ft3 tuned to 35hz ported center console. Thing gets down and bangs hard. Its up there with the big boys imo. And being $119 youd be hard pressd to find anything close to it.
