Looking into getting new tail lights for a cement gray Tacoma, what do you all recommend?

I've seen some nice ones, curious to see how clear, smoked, and white/black combo look on a cement gray Tacoma.

Any of you have pictures of your Tacomas and aftermarket tail lights?

Tacomabeast has some good looking ones. Can’t speak to quality as I have stock. I’m sure a google search would yield some results.
    And welcome!

Don't buy Tacomabeast. It's shitty drop-shipped chinesium and the dude is not worth supporting.

I put the Pros on my OR. Meso is coming out with a tail light sometime, might be something to keep an eye out for.

I didn’t like the chrome in the stock taillights so I swapped them out for the TRD Pro tails. Did the MESO Total Tail kit at the same time.

    Nice!

Do you have more pictures from further back? I wanted to see if the smoke makes the whole tail light look black, and the light design inside doesn't show?

I don’t think I have any on my phone from further back, but I can get a couple of pics in the morning. The lens is clear, but all of the chrome and shiny parts are blacked out.

It’s clear, but the internal pieces are blacked out. I’ll get a couple of better pics in the morning.

Spyder LED, because I don't believe in paying a lot of money just to get a black inlay in stock tail lights:

One big advantage over stock is the turn signals, driving lights, and brake lights illuminate separately:

I took some 2020 TRD chrome lights, and blacked them out. Also did a few coats of smoke on the center and side reflector. This has a Meso stage 1 kit so I removed the divider in the main light housing since the entire light is now used as a running / brake light instead of the split brake / turn indicator A9FC130F-A003-48BD-B399-E95C36B7E405.jpg

Its gotta be ambers for me. If we're talking pure functionality. Meso Stage 1 or 2s (Super bright) paired with Imported Equipment vinyl wrap on the lower portion. I’d love to hear someone say they didn’t see me signal now.

    I realize this isn’t a cement taco.

I have the 2017-2019 TRD Pro taillights. I prefer the 2020+ but they are hard to find

They’ll look just as good on cement

    A few.
Looks at posts #8 and #16 and you can see the difference. The 18/19 off road have red lenses and the pro had clear lenses with blacked out internals.
