Best time to buy NFAB steps?

I think I've narrowed down the exact steps I want. Unless someone can change my mind

They seem popular on here. Has anyone gotten a deal or black Friday type sale on them?

do you want a step or a slider.... because these offer no protection (and arguments can be made that they cause more harm than good).

 

Thanks for the reply. The steps would help the little tikes in and out. Otherwise I'd probably steer clear of adding them.

 

Agree they don't provide protection sliders do, but I'm curious what "harm" they cause?

 

Keep an eye out on the marketplace here. They go up for sale every now and then. I actually have a pair for sale right now but they’re for an Access Cab.

 

Donk one of these steps on something, you start crushing the body.

 

If they weren't there, isn't it likely you'd donk the body directly, doing similar damage? (Not trying to be obtuse. I just don't understand the harm caused by the steps themselves.)

 

Typically they hang down much lower than the body, reducing clearance, which if fine if you dont plan on doing stuffs more than a fireroad off road.

For OP's sake, to help little ones get up and down out of the truck go for it.... but id keep an eye on deals, lots take these off and are lightly used at half the cost.

 

they dont sit down any further than the tranny but again I don't go through anything my mirrors cant get through either
I have them so I can get my short ass little legs up

 

Back in May they were offering a $55 rebate on their nerf steps.
