Aren't these high shine silicone aerosol type tire sprays not good long term for your tires? I've always read that over time it breaks down the UV inhibitors which will lead to cracking. Also they tend to need a more aggressive cleaner like undiluted APC/degreasers to get the tire clean (getting rid of the brown) which also just breaks down the UV protection within the tire down over time.

If you have driven 75 miles after applying, you've got way too much air in your tires. You might want to drop the psi a tad or you'll wear the tires out much faster than you need to. There's still tire black where the edge of the tread is.

That’s not really saying much. Is that 75 miles in one day or multiple days? Had it rained since applying? That is the real test.

Not really. Going on a week with Carpro Perl and a couple of rain storms. Not all tire shines are the same.

Gotcha. Keep in mind that although the product I am using is more expensive by bottle, than it can diluted down. However it will never have the bling shine you got.

"Car guys" tire shine is great imo, spray on, sponge wipe, walk away. no sling (unless you soak the tire) and it lasts a week +. Good enough if you wash weekly.

I'm a huge fan of carpro products. The perl is very nice stuff. I switched from that to waxaddict tyre feeder last year and really liked the waxaddict. But now I'm hooked on this optimum tire coating. If you clean your tires well and do a couple coats it will last for MONTHS and a bottle will likely last a few years if you're only doing one vehicle. Really cool stuff. I will never go back to auto parts store detailing stuff again, especially the wet look tire shine

Aerospace 303? Good stuff. Works okay on tires and rubber, plastic, headlights, interior... doesnt even come close to the waxaddict for those usesthough, different playing field. And the optimum is in its own league too, its an actual coating with si02 in it
