i have 16x7 steel wheels with 245s...but i'm comparing to the TRD OR setup

    16x7, +32 (5.3" BS) w/ 265/70/16

so if i go with a

    16x8, +10 (4.9" BS)

would the best tire be 265/70/16 without killing MPG, etc?

i want to keep my flaps and not have to cut anything.

You could go up to 265/75/16 without any ill effects.

    thanks!

so basically the same sizing limits as "stock suspension" guidelines, even with the less backspacing of the new rims. i figured the outer wouldn't be an issue but with mud flaps and not really being able to measure accurately i was concerned.

    thanks again.

You might be able to fit 285's. But it would have to be a 32" tire, not a 33".
