Hi, I just bought a 1999 standard cab 4x4. It has miss matched tires. I was wondering what kind of tires that are not so expensive? I don't do go off road and I wanted to go with the widest I can. Any ideas? thanks

I've been pretty happy with the Multi-Mile Wild Country XTX's that I bought in a pinch. They won't live as long as a set of Michelins, but I think they're doing alrite considering they were half the price.

I found a few on that site. In my door jamb it say 225/75/15. I see people are using 265/75/15. I wanted to go bigger than the 225/75/16.
    Would the 265/65/15 fit well?

i would stick with the stock tire size in the door jam especially if its a 4 cylinder engine, going to a bigger size will really take out what little power and performance the truck has, plus loss of MPGs as well

I had a truck that had p225/75/15 from the factory I went the next size up to p235/75/15 and had some noticeable loss of MPGs plus power loss was a 22RE 4 banger engine, 5 speed stick

Tirerack.com gives great specs on tires including tires weight, tread depth ex. And alot of reviews to look over.
