+2 on this. I am running these tires on my tacoma. Make sure you get P rated tires to retain the ride you want in your original post.

One other option is to get the bridgstone revo 3's. I have these on my wifes new 4runner and they are SUUUUPPER quiet and better than stock.

I think the KO2's look more aggressive.

I ended up getting a 265/70/17 Falken set on ebay for $486, pretty decent deal.

I had the Revo's on my old Tacoma. I like my Destination AT better because they performed very similar but are priced better.

I got some Tiger Paws for my Silverado. Maybe a touch tame for some here, but they have turned out to be a really impressive tire. They do great in the snow and are quiet on the road.

KO2's ride great for me. Look mildly aggressive. It was these or Duratracs. I opted for E rated KO2's- so far they are holding up great and ride awesome.

Don’t think it has been mentioned as option-if stay with a stock
Passenger Type (P)tire the truck comes and not go to a load range C,D,Or E ttire also known as a LT (light truck)- the sidewall is softer/ tire is lighter which will translate to more street friendly tire. My Toy came with the BFG rugged trail. Which has decent looking tread tire in the P rated-

Falken Wildpeaks at3w hands down. Passenger rated. Only difference I could tell from stock was how less my ass clenched around mountain highway turns. Can’t beat the price of them either.

They are shitty in snow, but the k02 get my full credit for looking rugged, riding surprisingly quiet, and being durable. I run the 265/70/17 in all seasons but Winter.

X2 - These tires were great in my previous truck and also on this Tacoma.

My pal just got these on her jeep... They work great for the road and gravel..

And are super smoother for a rugged tire... And dirt cheap..

She ran them this winter and I was surprised at the snow traction..
