    Hey hey--
Looking for a Tonneau cover that's compatible with some low profile racks to hold a pop-up tent. I'm hoping to find one that you can open when the tent is on the rack.
The Diamond Back site shows a rack on their cover, but it looks like you'd have to remove the tent from the rack to open the cover... Not ideal.
Access has the Adarac Aluminum system where the cover rolls up between the racks, looks promising...

Anybody else running something like that, or have other ideas?

I was thinking the same thing. Do they have a tonneau cover that works with a Yakima or Thule rack. If I want to haul a kayak, I will need the rack.

Adarac does offer a low profile rack... however the Lomax folding cover won't open underneath it. The Pro Series rack will allow this but is cab high so not low profile.

To have a low profile rack that will allow a cover to open underneath your options would be something rolling and not folding. So either a soft rollup style cover, retractable style like a Retrax or maybe a hard rolling option like a Truxedo Sentry.

Feel free to send me a PM and I can go over some detailed options

I’m pretty happy with my Truxedo Truxport that I put on just before my trip to Moab. I think I had the same brand before on another truck and wouldn’t hesitate to get it again.

if anyone is looking for a Mx4 bakflip for a 2nd gen long bed let me know.
Truck was totaled and never got to install. Brand new in box. These are $1250 new. Local pickup preferred. Will take $950. 21155 Md.

What is the secret to sealing the bulkhead side of an Access Original roll up cover? Had my 2023 back to the installer three times but still have leaks on both corners at the bulkhead.

What is the volume of the leak? Almost no cover is water tight at the front corners so what you are experiencing may be normal unless its a ton of water. A drip or trickle is considered normal. Is the element seal that is across the top of the front bulkhead tight against both side rail caps? You shouldn't see any daylight up there when looking from the rear of the bed.

Looking to get a hard tri-folding cover for my 2017 SR access cab, deciding between bakflip mx4 & gator fx3. Any recommendations on which one? My main concern is I want the cover to lock with the tailgate, which I think both do?

Gator is simply a relabeled BAK cover anyway but it is more similar to the BAK G2 than the MX4...

I sent you a PM with some pricing that might make the decision easier...

The honeymoon's not over but I made this post on the Fas-Top. So far it is really sweet to have all of an open bed, tonneau simplicity and a full covering topper when appropriate. Additionally, Fas-Top has a rack system fully compatible with the both.

This is my 5th pickup truck, I've had other toppers, experienced stuff associates have had. From that I don't consider any of them fully waterproof and same for theft proof. The Fast-Top might not seem as sophisticated as some but the parent firm has been making trucking and ag tops and hardware since the 1990s and the all in one models for pickups for 5+ years.

Fast-Top Traveler (all in one tonneau & soft topper) initial review.

I bought their tri-fold hard cover from Mostplus for less than $450 and have been using it for almost two years.

2005 short bed. Have the factory rails. Is there a cover that fits on them? These are flat on top and bottom with inner facing side notches. Looking for the easiest install with a hard cover.Pickup Tacoma.jpg

Are the sides of the Access Lorado able to be lifted much while the cover is latched?
I'm debating between that and the Lomax. I'd prefer a roll up (and less expensive) cover, but security is a concern.

It would be very difficult to reach in and pull anything out the side of the Lorado when latched. I wouldn't consider that a concern.

Side note... shoot me a PM when you decide as we can help on pricing with either option.

I had a Lomax on my 2018 Taco that worked really well. I had a BAK Revolver X4 on my 2021 Tundra, and it was great! My 2019 Taco had an OEM Tonneau that I just didn’t like, so I replaced it with another BAK Revolver X4s…pricey, but exactly what I wanted.
