I missed the Tundra in your info. You should get a complete seal. I don't mind the composite bed on the Taco, but I do wonder about the weird and stepped bed rails.

I bought an "Access Original" from Truck Alterations for $345 (you have to call them and tell them you are a forum member). The cover arrived very fast and I installed it myself - they were a pleasure to deal with. I got the Original, rather than the Laredo, because, when I called Access to ask questions, they told me the Original would provide more clearance for the tie downs in my tracks than the Laredo would. The extra clearance seemed like a good idea as well.

I'm going to trade my black '16 SR5 Access Cab in a couple months on a silver like yours. I can get it for the same price as the truck I'm driving now. Toyota don't think we need 2WD access cabs in SR5, 2.7 2WD here in the mid-west zone so the dealer is going to trade with a west coast dealer and have it built and sent to me. Like to step up to a TRD Sport in silver but the additional $13,000+ is to much for me.

I got the 4wd, but I need it where I live. Silver wasn't my first choice, but it has really grown on me...

I've owned 2 Extang trifecta's soft trifolds. One on my 2006, the other on my 13. 5+ years of hard use in Vermont ice and snow, no issues leaking, vinyl and cover hardware no problems. The cover is easy on/off and light. I only got rid of it because I bought a shell. It was a great tonneau for a soft cover.

Do the lower priced soft roll ups (like the Access Original or Loredo) have aluminum stiffeners across the bed, or are they 100% fabric and rely on tension to stay taut?

Access covers like mine have either 2 or 3 support rods, depending on whether you have a 5, or 6 foot bed. The quality is very nice. The cover can't be opened, btw, if it is in place with the tail gate locked (without using a knife, at least).

I have had my Extang Trifecta since 2005, moved it to my 07 after the idiots at the dealership dropped my 05 off the lift. DOH... I just bought and installed a new tarp(vinyl piece), and they threw in a new front seal for it. And I was able to pick it up at the factory in A2 Michigan. Great folks and an excellent product. If you gotta haul big shit, it comes off in two minutes and stores easy. Can't recommend it enough. And no, I don't worry about it being secure, no tailgate lock on my Taco so if anyone wants something, go for it......
