Best Tonneau + Rack Combo

Hi All

Been working my way through reviews of Tonneau's + Racks reviews. I am looking to pick up both as soon as truck is delivered. Rack should be able to accommodate rooftop tent, bikes etc but will not be used quite yet for major expeditions etc. Likewise the cover needs to be good build quality, secure and water tight but not expedition grade.

All ideas welcome.

Im also looking for suggestions for a rack to mount a tent over the bed. I have a 22 TRD OR 4X4 long bed. last summer we traveled pulling a 6 X 8 trailer and I have a Leer topper. 2 of us slept in topper and two in a ground tent or in the trailer when necessary. mounted tent is definitely the way to go.

If you want a cover that can open with the rack installed, we would suggest a retractable cover like a Retrax, or a rolling cover like the BAK Revolver.

 

Hi - thanks for response. I am having a Truxedo fitted tomorrow. Will it work with this. Model is a LoPro.
