I am considering a soft top for the bed but I want one with the pass through window to the cab, the softopper has a window addition but I was wondering if anyone has fabricated a pass through window for cheaper, I can get a rubber seal to make up the gap, but I am curious to what others may have done

Even if you ran the ST without the front window installed, I'm not sure how you can seal the gap properly since it's not a solid frame like a hard camper shell. It can be done but not likely to prevent water leaks. The sides of the ST at the cab is frameless and the ST does have some movement at highway speeds. I prefer the overall look of Softopper over the Bestop. Those Bestop side windows are crap during cold weather and worthless once it gets dirty and scratched over time.

That’s a good point, and I agree, I like the ST More, I was really looking to see what other ideas have been thought up on how to seal it.

If money isn't an option, you can look at the Can Back toppers. They have a frame and would be better suited for something like you are thinking of.
