I sleep in mine. Sierras and Pacific Coast Ranges. In the summer I open the vents or even the entire windoor (i have custom full screens). Coldest I'll go is high 20s. Extra blankets+human being of the female variety is enough.

I just got a Leer cap on my truck about a week ago, DCSB, and got the vented windoors on both sides. The dealer here in town told me that Leer just started offering that option on the short beds real recently. I ended up springing for the 100RCC for the extra weight capacity on the roof, but I think you can get the vented windoors on the 100R model as well with the short bed now.

I have a Mr Heater, but don’t run it much, just to take out the chill. A little battery powered fan and windows for cooling

Sleep in the bed of the truck, safer from critters.

ive slept in the truck over a two week cross country trip.
I like the security, the hard shell top protecting me from the elements. When the winds in Nova Scotia fired up, i wasnt concerned about blowing away. It restricts your packing a little which means you have to park smarter but is a more comfortable sleep at night

Side WinDoors are a must have!!
    I use them constantly!!

2nd is electric lock option tied into truck so fob locks and unlocks cap.
Also have electric tailgate pop n lock that works the same

3rd is carpet interior of cap so you can use Velcro to attach things and hold in place.

Sleeping bag and an extra human equals warm. I’m still dealing with water getting inside and making my carpet stink. Need some advice for cleaning the carpet smell!

    More than I can afford
The Snugtop on my X has windoors, power lock (tied into the factory keyfob), roof rack rails, headliner and the slide and flipdown front glass.
All of those add ons are things that I am very, very happy that I did. I wish they had an option for power locking on the windoors but the latch design makes it impossible (at least that is what they told me when I ordered mine and I understand it by looking at them).

I have had shells on just about every truck I have owned, this was the first one I got to order new (others came with the trucks).
The only negative I have found is the aesthetics of the windoors. They stick out a bit and look very utilitarian. On my older 4x4 pickup it doesn't bug me but on something more street oriented like my X, I wish they looked smoother.

I’ve been contemplating getting a hard shell topper recently. I’m really liking this one by Smart Cap but they are Bank! 150F4D3F-382B-41D3-A773-7372A5EB0FF7.jpg
