    And a choice of these:

Thule Awning #326 Thule Awning #326
Thule Conduit Box #317 Thule Conduit Box #317
Thule Eye Bolt (2 pcs) #320 Thule Eye Bolt (2 pcs) #320
Thule Ladder Lift System #329 Thule Ladder Lift System #329
Thule Ladder Tilt System #339 Thule Ladder Tilt System #339
Thule Load Stop #344 Thule Load Stop #344
Thule Tilting Load Stop #345 Thule Tilting Load Stop #345

I have not seen any of these systems up close. What I am looking for is basic rails that don't put much extra drag on the vehicle but where I can add bars, stops, etc to carry virtually anything I want up to weight limit. In other words I will not be purchasing any accessories right now; just want to order the best rack on the topper for expansion later on. (sorry about the bold letters - system would not let me change them once I cut & pasted)

Compare the Tracker II and the Aero bars on Thule's website.

Personally I like the Tracker II over the Aero bars, but the Aero's are going to be more, you guessed it aerodynamic. My opinion is that the Tracker II's are a little more heavy duty and the aero system is just designed for a more modern look which I personally don't care for.

    Here's how Thule describes them:

Load bars attach to Thule feet and are positioned across the roof creating attachment points for Thule accessories. Bars are sold in multiple lengths.

Use the Thule Fit Guide to find the right load bars for your vehicle.

    Rapid Aero™
Aluminum Bar - Premium, lightweight aluminum load bars that are stylish, aerodynamic and weather resistant. Upper T-slot for simplified mounting of accessories. Attach to mounted Thule Rapid Aero base rack feet.

    Square Bar
High-strength plastic-coated square steel load bar, attach to be mounted to standard Thule base rack feet.

    Fairing
The Thule fairing helps air to flow over the bars for better aerodynamics and reduced wind noise when your base rack is not in use.
