Best TRD Sport & Offroad Alternative Grill Options Currently

Don't have my truck yet. Barcelona red ORDCLB should be very soon. I voted for the TRD Pro grill, but will probly do the dirp, paint, or line-x due to the likely insane price of the new grill. I like the look of the original OR grill with the background blacked, leaving emblem and bezel and possibly the horizontal cross bars chrome.

I have that grille without the emblem. Ended up buying an SR grille bezel trim on eBay because I didn't want to use my chrome one. Realtruck.com and other sites have them for much cheaper. Still expensive for a grille but much heavier and better quality than stock in my opinion.

 

Actually like the chrome surround on, with the RAD grill tones down the look & overall size of the grill. Doesn't look so much like a big mouth bass. Think maybe part is the chrome works with the MGM color, as the examples on a Black Taco look good with black bezel.....my opinion. Both Sharp!

BAMF grill all the way then the TRD Pro grill then the RAD Grill

 

I'd go BAMF, RAD then TRD Pro. Even though I have the RAD grill and love it, the BAMF is a fabricating work of art. TRD Pro grill is awesome looking at it head on, but protrudes out too much for my taste.

Got the T Rex Billet installed this weekend. $379 shipped from CARiD. I like it. Lines are good, finish is good. Took about an hour and a half to install. Would have been quicker but I had to pull it all back apart a couple times to make an adjustment to the center tab that holds it to the backing piece. Plus that tab was just a hair to big so it required some trimming of the plastic channel where the tab sets. Was debating on weather or not I would like the chrome surround but in the end I do like it. Kinda matches up with the head lights imo. Here is the T Rex part number if anyone is interested Pt #6219421 They have a couple different versions of it.

 

Now that I actually have an Off-Road, I really don't mind the stock grill.

Thanks... I thinks so too. It's a Leer... I had one on. My Tundra and liked it. This one also does a good job!

 

Raptor lined the main grill. Duplicator matched the rest. The clear definitely yellowed the super white a little but it's close, I notice it but I'm really lookin.

 

Finally Dipped my Grill until I receive my BAMF grill.

I like it. Do you think it would survive a car wash? I have the derp cans on the workbench just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

 

Found a custom grill I like, jus got to see if they can fit it on the Tacoma. Then I'll be able to cook anything I kill on the spot.
