Best TRD Sport & Offroad Alternative Grill Options Currently

If I was going to cover parts of the body, I would try retro stripes. But to each their own.

 

I've got this ordered, still waiting for it to get here

 

Just swapped from customcargrills mesh to sr5. I like the look much better. Should have done this first and saved money.

I actually painted my OR grille. For $60 for all the adhesion promoter, primer, paint, and sandpaper. It came out perfect. Be creative. Lol

 

I think Toyota really missed the mark on the TRD grilles.

 

I have a question before I buy a TRD Bro Grill.....I started calling around to check on prices today and one dealership suggested that the Bro grill is an insert and that I would need to buy the paint matched surround to go with it and a cost of $576 for both....does this sound right?

 

Hell no. You can pop out the existing grille from the housing removing the screws and pushing out the tabs. The TRD Pro grille pops into place of the prior grille.

 

Thank you for the reply, this is where my confusion comes in. The surround is chrome and the new grill would be black...so what I think what they are saying is I should get a new surround that is paint matched as well....???? Or am I missing something?

It's just one piece that pops into the surround no trim piece neccesary. Check out the vid and it will answer everything.

 

The 2017 Taco's are pricy though lol?
