Hi guys. Looking to see what the best tweeter would be. Ive seen the DS18 and kickers being commonly used has anyone heard both and noticed any difference or can point me in the right direction? I have kickers in the doors currently and a 12" 1500w sub sitting on the seat behind the drivers seat. Just want the best quality as the bass is drowning them out thanks in advance!

Best is relative. Best for an audiophile? Best for budget under $100? The Subaru tweeters are popular for under $100. Plug and play and fits in the stock location. They are made by kicker.

I’ve had Subaru kickers for 1.5 years and been happy with them!

price isnt an issue would rather spend the extra money for something thats better over saving a few dollars.

Tweeters will be fine but stock front and rear speakers won’t

The Subaru tweets were a huge upgrade over stock. They did the job for a year or so before I yanked everything out and completely redid the system with Focal Flax speakers, a JL sub and DSP amp.

JL just released some speakers that will fit in the tweeter areas, but they won't be pnp: CF-275mt - Car Audio - Speakers - Custom-Fit - JL Audio

I've had the DS-18's for a few months. No complaints. Definitely better than the stock ones.

Super easy to install. Just make sure you don’t use anything rough to remove the plastic pieces from the truck so it doesn’t get scratched
