    Which one is best?

I'm debating between the GoSpout, DayTank, or one at all
Don't have a roof rack for the huge one
And the big roof rack one (Weekender?) I don't think you can exactly just go walk around carrying it to a refill area

    GoSpout:
-might be enough for light camping use, wash dishes, etc. - if it runs out, can refill from a separate source or extra water carried
-cons: small. I don't have real world experience using one to know just how quickly you go through it. Would not use to shower
-probably like $100 at Costco. Good return policy. Say you use it and don't like it, can probably return it

    DayTank:
-also available at Costco I think as a kit but with HitchMount that is likely less useful than bedrail mount, that can be bought separately. But at least the Costco kit comes with other accessories like coiled hose, sprayer nozzle, etc. to make it cheaper than ordering that all online
-Pros: it's bigger, water will last longer
-Cons: takes up more space in the bed with other gear. Some pics make it look like it takes up a TON of space, other pics make it look really not that bad.
Maybe I can keep it elsewhere in the truck or reorganize my bed as currently without a swingout, my rails are all used up (spare, hi-lift, shovel/axe)
    Costs more

Wish I had one right now to spray a spot off on the truck; bird flew over and shit right after I washed it

both of them seem like they could fit different places inside the truck if needed
Like if you're trying to maximize space and move a bunch of stuff in the bed temporarily, I hear the DayTank can be moved to fit behind the seats, etc.

Wtf is up with prices going up on everything

so I ended up getting a DayTank. For anyone curious it was great. Mounted to bed rail it can be moved and taken out. No roof rack to put a Weekender.
Got the pump cap. Could be manually pressurized quickly.
Fill at a water station for like 25c/gallon. Or pour your own water in from storage jugs.

eventually want to go Onboard Water Setup

sold the daytank no longer needing it as much thinking I can just get a GoSpout because I saw them $100 at Costco.
Carry it around, light duty use.
I live in an apartment so no garage driveway hose access.

things like wash sand off your feet at the beach, or even lately my skid was covered in sand wanted to take it off, brush degreaser, then spray rinse with water.
Nope. GoSpout price went to like $154.99 + tax so basically from $100ish to $160-170 for the same thing
So now you’d be getting a tiny little milk jug (but black color) for about the same price as what a 3.5gal DayTank just was.

I wonder if this is ever gonna stop or if in 2 years 1999 Honda Civics are gonna be $100,000

It’s funny I’ve bought items and then sold them with a vehicle for example and end up kicking myself in the ass because to buy the same item for my next vehicle it ends up costing me a decent amount more due to inflation of price.

I am on the hunt for a decent used lawnmower currently cause even the pos brand made in China new ones like I bought 6 years ago at like 150 now cost $299. Or who the fuck wants to spend $500 on a no frills model well-known name push mower? $299 seems to get you a no frills Chinese brand without the damn mulching bag. Whats worse is even the used 10 yr old mowers are being listed at 150 obo.
