Last step of my icon rxt stage 2 install is to align the front eyebolts.

What is the best route to go about doing this?

I see alot of guys use a strap from axel to frame, to do this, do you tighten down the ubolts into place?

Where is the best place to secure the strap on the frame?

    What other options?

^Leave the U-bolts loose on the opposite side. That'll let you shift the axle on the working end fore and aft as needed.

Take the ubolts off. Droop the axle. Then there will be slack to just use a soft hammer on the leaf pack to shift it. Otherwise it will be a big fight.

It's so hard on your poor back when you do this on the ground haha.

Leaf springs always first, then axle last.

I start with forward eyelet, then shackle loose, then axle, jack up and torque all bolts.

So I ended up pretty much laying the axel on the ground, undoing the shackles and ubolts, and just starting with the front eyebolts beating them into place with a mallet and lots of wd40. Should've started there to begin with, rest of the steps were super easy.

I ended up doing it that way, literally took it all apart and started fresh, but yeah I was sore after doing all that!
