What cleaner/chemical are you guys using to clean the bed? Mine has been looking a bit ashy lately. I would like something that gives it a like new look, but not something that is gonna make it all glossy and slick like tire shine.

303 aerospace protectant is good for all plastics/vinyl but does require a little buffing. Not sure if I'd use it on the bed because the amount of work needed for something that's going to get dirty right away. It's not glossy or super slick like tire shine though.

Please find me a bed mat that covers the sides and tailgate of the bed.

Then let me know if you know of a good way to clean that.

x2 for 303 - I use it a couple times a year on my bed. You should also be using something like 303 on your black fender flares and such - it makes me sooooo sad seeing older trucks with all that faded oxidized black plastic that could have been saved with 5 minutes of someones time every now and again...

it is a little slick, not like tire shine or wax or anything but it's not rough either. I don't worry about it being slick though b/c the OEM bed mat works great to keep things from sliding around on the daily and I just remove it when I'm hauling anything messy like wood, garbage, etc.,

I use trim restore. It takes alot of work to do the whole bed. It took me a while because I had 3 seasons of dried deer blood in the nooks and crannies

Yep, same here - learned about it on here and always keep it on-hand now. Perfect for your plastic interior as well as it isn't oily like armor all mess, isn't so shiny it reflects crazy on your windshield but gives it a nice matte shine that cleans well and protects the plastic from UV and whatnot. I'm a little OCD, so I generally do my fender flares, any black plastic areas including that around the tailgate and front "scoop" as part of my weekly cleaning regimen and then about once a month I do the interior plastic and probably get the itch to freshen the bed up every 3-4 months when it's nice out.

Also led me to their upholstery protectant as well and it's really helped keep our outdoor furniture looking like new through hot / sunny southern summers.

Edit: Also have found it to do a really good job of darkening and refreshing anything I have that's black powder-coated as well so I regularly do a round of it on my prinsu and steps as well ;)

I'd recommend some cocoa butter for an ashy bed.

Just want to make sure we're talking about a TRUCK BED here?? ....a truck bed.

Simple tip on how to clean a truck bed = spray it out. Done. Now go polish your shovel.

303 for shure, use it on all exterior plastics and it’s great on the interior trim, headlights, taillights. Get the 303 aerospace for exterior, they also make a 303 for interior use as well.

+1 for 303, but I also use Amazing Roll-Off for tougher stains and grease. It’s amazing stuff and works great on tires too.

    seriously

If mine gets really dirty since I keep camping gear in there and bags I dont feel like getting filthy but i just wash it down with the rest of the truck.

Pull tonneau off, spray down whole truck with foam canon using chemical guys mr pink, rinse and be done.

Besides bed mat takes most of it.
