A wire coat hanger would probably even be better. I didn’t have one. A coat hanger will spring right back to being straight.

The 3M Cavity Wax 08852 spray can with 08851 wand kit work great for this…. Odor is low/disappears.

Can you tell me what you did with bailing wire - is it just one strain of wire ? Did you tape it to the straw or wrap it around - any pictures and or links ? Thanks for any reply.

I just cut a length as long as the straw and taped it to the straw. It keeps the straw ridged so when you push it in those drain holes it doesn’t curl up inside the rocker. It’s just one strain of wire.

Thanks for the reply and information - did you use masking tape or electrical tape ? I had the same problem with it bending last time and I'm ready to do it again.

I bought the Woolwax Pro Undercoating Gun - I had the Standard Gun - I would recommend the Pro Gun - the Extension Wands do not bend and kink like the Standard Gun. I had to prime the Standard Gun before I could use the Wand - I didn't have to prime the Pro gun. If you go on their Web Sight you can get a discount and free shipping so the price was better then the big A. I use linseed oil - it's easy to use, not expensive and dries so dirt doesn't stick to it like a lot of other products.
