Best way to get aftermarket LED lights through grille - cut wires or remove from relay?

My truck came with this setup. I have 4 LED lights wired to a switch in the cab. I want to relocate the LED lights on the bull bar to under the lower grille. They are too large to go backwards through it. I want to take the bull bar off and see how it looks without it, and yet keep all the LEDs. I tried tugging the wires out of the relay but they are in there pretty good and didnt want to damage them.

So, would it be best to cut the wires and solder them again behind the grille? Or should they be coming out of the relay more easily?

I wouldn't try to take the wires out of the relay by pulling on them. I would just cut the wires about 12" from the light itself and install some waterproof connectors. Like some deutsch connectors. Really easy and you won't have to worry about this again.

Exactly. I'm surprised they don't have deutsch connectors to begin with.

Thanks all. For future readers, I removed.the bull bar, cut the LEDs wires and mounted them to the front metal bumper reinforcement. The lights are then just behind the lower grill.
There is already a front hole and a rear hole on the superior surface of the reinforcement. If you take a 5/16 bit and drill the front one out a tiny bit you can fit 4 inch 5/16 bolts in the holes and mount the led lights. Then put a 5/16 nut on the bottom side. Then get all the wires back together as above.

Will do, when the sun comes up.
Also fun fact. Before one does this, know that the bumper support mounts are NOT equidistant. Took me a while to realize this. Use the sliders on your led mounts and put them on different positions until you can get them symmetrical in the lower grille. Do not put the nut on and tighten it until you've matched them up. Also helps to remove all 4 black plastic snap clips off the lower bumper to give you access to turn your ratchet.
When you're done wiring (the hardest part), cinch up the wires to behind the grille with zip ties, preferably black.
