best way to get bushings in leaf pack

    the leaf spring bushings wheelers sent me for the 1.25" lift shackles seem to be a bit to big for the eye and I cant get them in. leaving for wyo meet TOMORROW, how the fuck do I get these in! I can cut the shit out of em but don't want to. is that my only option?

    Put the bushings in freezer for about 30 mins, get a torch on stand by, after bushings are good & frosty before you take them out of freezer take the torch & heat up eyeletts good, not glowing hot , just good & hot.

    have some gloves on grab a bushing & center it as good as you can in the eyelett, get big ass hammer & smack it hard a couple times, once its started you can usually drive it home from there without too much BS...

    & yep I'm serious about this ;)

    On a side note , any spring manufacturer that sends you springs without the bushings already in is a cheap ass fistle fuck IMO....
