Awesome! This is exactly the info I was looking for too. I'm moving to Idaho soon, and I can count how many times I've touched snow on one hand (once in a Supra and twice in a Subaru). I can see it now... forgetting to have warm gloves or clothes on hand and hating life as I doggy paddle snow away and question my poor life choices having packed nothing but hand sanitizer and Starbucks.

Funny story; a few weeks ago with the remnants of the last big snow fall here on Long Island melting away; I got stuck in my truck. Ended up using my factory floor mats...they have rigid spines that helped provide traction to get me out. Of course now my mats are screwed up so I will have to upgrade at some point.

On topic; what about one of those manual hand winches? I feel like hooking one end up to a tree and the other to my trailer hitch would be a huge help in getting unstuck.

    A come-a-long would be helpful.
