    few things here and there.
    Hey y’all.

I am about to replace my inner wheel liner’s and need help figuring out the best way to remove this clip. Looks like if I push down it’ll pop out, but knowing me… I’ll break something, so I’m looking to you for help!

anyone know the best way to tackle these? Thanks

A door panel removal tool should get it out.

^No center piece in those, just a hole that accepts self-tapping screws (like those holding mudflaps).
Those clips are designed with a weak flange relative to the barbs holding it in. If you don't have access to the back side, plan on the the clip being destroyed (i.e. buy a few spares before you tear into it).

Damn. Sounds good tho. So, just pry it out with a flathead and call it a day? So, should I use the flathead in the middle or use a clip removal tool?

^You'll need a combination of clip removal tool and pliers (small vise grips or Knipex-style pliers wrench). Screwdriver won't do jack all.

Awesome! Just got some. So.. if I break it in the front, can I push it out from behind? I don’t guess I’ll be able to get to it from behind. I’m just gonna tackle it (truck on ground) in my driveway.

If you break the round flange, you push in the remainder. Some of the broken pieces will be accessible, some will not (they'd roll under the battery tray or the fuse box). Being plastic, loose pieces won't do any harm.

Blows my mind that they make these little clips so hard to access. I don’t really know another way to get to them from behind. May end up trying to pry, or maybe use a little drill bit and drill up the middle?

^You're overthinking this. Just do the best you can with a clip remover tool, rip out whatever's remaining with vise grips. Anything left after that can be pushed into the body to clear the hole. Don't use a drill.

You’re absolutely right. Just going to do what you’re suggesting and I’m sure it’ll be fine.
