Best way to replace front passenger seat belt? Dog chewed through mine

I didn't expect it, but I did my due diligence and the dealer can't/won't cover it. I would have been surprised if they did.

Gonna cost me about $280 to replace Bad dog.

 

$280 is better than a passenger face planting into the windshield.

 

Absolutely "one and done". They have fragile, teeny, tiny little inertial lock mechs inside that can break. They have torque control spindles inside that twist all up like a liquorice stick to control the belt loading in an accident. I can't imagine that the salvage yard part is much cheaper than a NIB part. Operating a vehicle with a salvage yard restraint system changes the occupant's status from Driver/Passenger to crash test dummy.
