    Looking for a Tacoma
    Hi,

Sadly, I think I am ready to part with my Tacoma. It is a 2009 with 134,000 miles. Gas tank needs to be dropped to replace fuel neck and a bearing or two, or possible the rear end, needs work. Truck has a new frame which was installed a few years ago. I am thinking about letting her go for about $13K USD. I haven't sold private in a long time. Any sites that you all recommend ? Is the price I am asking fair? Thanks in advance.

The two I researched on the most when I purchased mine recently was Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. They seemed to be the easiest to pick a search area and filter by the features I was looking for by using the right search terms.

You will have better luck on there by listing more information and good quality/quantity of photos. Anticipate what people are going to be interested in and try to include it in the listing. Also, the first week on both sites are going to be a lot of scammers. Any response you get within the first 24 hours is likely a scammer. Don't deal with anyone who wants their brother/sister/cousin to come by, they are out of town or out of the country for business, they will wire you the money, etc.

The listings that were the best when I was researching also provided fair and accurate descriptions and photos of issues. So, if you know you got a big dent in one of the fenders, best photograph it and include it. Also, good quality and well lit photos of underneath will help a lot.
