tell the dealer you like to do it your self. if they good they should put it in the computer and they wont fill it up even if it’s half full or just about empty.

    Too many to list now.
Wanted bosch icons per this thread but they were gone so I got some rain x latitudes yesterday and so far they've been amazing. Totally silent on the windshield too. I would say to anyone looking for them though, go with the 22" rather than the 21". You'll have the perfect swipe :)

It's not new, it's not Mexico
The on base Firestone had a flyer that offered two for one Bosch wipers so I picked up a pair for $18.02. They're the Bosch Evolutions, but I thought I'd give 'em a try. They were cheaper than a pair of Toyota blades and easier to install than Toyota refills. Maybe someday it will rain in New Mexico so I can try them.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I usually get whatever is on sale, still running my factory blades and they are going on their second year and still work great, not sure what brand they are though.

i voted rainx, cause i bought them after the stockers wore out after three years, probably shoulda changed them a long time ago..but i usually stay home when it rains(hey,i'm retired, don't bother me),but as i think about it the stockers lasted a long time with no upkeep..i'll be trying that alcohol thing to see if i can get the latitudes to last a bit longer, they're expensive!

IMO cheap blades are more cost-efficient, $8/pair vs $30 for silicone ones - you can replace the cheap blades when they start wearing. Expensive ones will dry out/crack sooner or later

I have seen the Rain-X blades for $6 at the dollar store here in central MA. I haven't replaced the blades on my truck yet, but on high the drivers side blade pops off the window a bit as it goes vertical...I think I need more flexible blades...

I find any metal bracket wiper useless in the winter, all the joints freeze and it doesn't even touch the windshield. I use Bosch icons but need to replace them once a year, which sucks because, since I live in Canada, it costs $60 for a pair of 17s.

I've also used valeo ultimate blades from the tirerack.com. Valeo makes most OE beam blades and I found they lasted a bit longer the the icons. I'd vote for the valeo's if they were in the poll.

Lol Reeper that was a slightly exaggerated. I just got off a call with a client in California who will not fly out until may because they believe we get 3ft snowstorms until the end of April. I sent him a picture of clear ground he said "that's the calm before the quake"

I might try the Icons next, not sure I do like my PIAA.
