DCLB available in automatic only! why?!?

If I needed a longer bed, I'd have bought an AC...because I don't need or want my truck any longer than it already is. I'm comfortable enough to buy based on my needs and preferences, and not on whether others feel my choices are a reflection of my manhood...just as I'm sure most DCLB owners do. I ain't mall-crawling (whatever the hell that is), but I do unfortunately have to do a good deal of city driving...and more importantly city parking. For me, DCSB FTMFW! If I were back in WV, I'd probably have shopped for the LB.

Seriously though, here where I am, I saw only 1 DCLB when I was shopping my 2012 accross 3 different dealerships, and about 20 or so DCSBs. Fact is, they just aren't available around here for some reason.

Oh, and to keep this on topic, let me just say 2012 FTW!

Another point for DCSB! Sorry you LB people, You guys just look weird, Its a bad Bed to cab ratio, Too much bed not enough cab, Maybe if they offered a megacab type thing with the long bed it would look better.

DCLB does have worse angles and worse turning radius. Can't argue with a measuring tape :D

    function > form

who gives a shit what it looks like. it's a TRUCK not some show car.

I will, however, say this.....for all you DCLB owners, I'm jealous of your body lines. I can't stand the way the lines along the rear fender flares just drop off and go straight into the rear door.

DCLB has a nice angle. That's it. Now take your limos to somebody else's prom.

There is a company in Utah and I believe there's one in Texas that modify Mega cab Dodges and Tundras into long beds. I know the one in Utah does it by cutting the frame above the axle, putting sleeves inside and out of the frame to extend it to fit the 8' bed. They actually do it so well that Dodge will still honor the factory warranty. A friend of mine had them do the conversion to his mega cab Dodge, it is gigantic.

    http://www.longbedmegacab.com/

Edit: In his build thread he says he had Precision Bodylines do the long bed conversion. Same company my buddy used in Utah.
