I don't have a backup camera but I can relate. I can't see my stereo most of the time during daylight hours. The only way to change stations is to memorize the finger smudges on the screen.

It's gunna be hard to find a 2012+ double cab for under $20k depending on where you live. Maybe a non trd pre runner (4x2).

For 20k, TRD off road, double cab... I think the saying beggars cant be choosers is fitting. Just buy the newest one you can afford which will most likely be a pre face lift (2005-2011)

Also. Sweet looking Ranger. You got good taste! Can't wait to see what you will do with a taco

not sure on the resale market down there but might not be an option for OP.
Up here 2013+ are still 20k+ seen some 2015s go for as high as 36k.

Thanks! That truck has been very fun to drive. (Even if my wife says its too bumpy! hahahaha) Only time I have had a problem in the truck is when I blew a front CV join going up a sand hill almost completely vertical and instead of going up the hill at the top at a 12 oclock angle I was now at a 2 oclock angle! Definatly a pucker moment to say the least. I have a "few" ideas for a Taco when I get one! :)

Ok. So it looks like the '13 is the preferred truck to get. I guess I can now go back to determining which variation I want. The controversial OR vs Sport? SB vs LB?

Lots of sand / snow / ice driving for me.

Nice Ranger man....good luck with the newer truck. I went from an 99 Ranger to my 09 Tacoma, a huge difference in ride.

Just to put it out there I'll ask. What is the difference if any, other than the year on manufacture between to
    2012 thru 2015 ?

    2013.

You get new style front clip. All the new goodies (Bluetooth radio etc) without the loss of a proper mirror (2014's lost auto dimming, backup cam and outside temp in mirror). Also 2013's have been programmed to have a smog purge on shutdown so it should help reduce any risk of the air pump valve failures.

I may be biased though... love my 2013

I got my 2011 DCLB sport with 52k almost a year ago for $23,500. They came down from 26.5. Haggled for a week. Might have been able to get It for 23 at best if I could have held out.. But these trucks are kinda few and far between, Especially the long bed in Magnetic grey. I'd say you are lookin between 20-25k on price..

How are you reading that from the answers provided? That makes no sense. SB and LB are always offered, regardless of year.

Ok understood. 2012 has the new front clip, Blue tooth radio and Back-up cam and temp in mirror. I don't know about the smog pump purge programming. A 2012 should be a couple thousand $$ cheaper than a 2013 and from what I'm seeing has the same "Goodies" This might put it at a price point that is acceptable for DanielJay

I may be biased though... love my 2012

In NY Tacos 3,4,5 years old with 50,60,70 even 80 thousand miles are like a grand less than brand new. Its so nuts i wouldn't buy used for those prices.

I was just saying some owners of SB had posted they wished they had gotten LB. Not that they were not offered.
    Simple statement, no hidden meaning.
