Bestop Question on shipping

So I ordered a Bestop SuperTop the other day. Checking order status revealed nothing more than I had in fact made the order. I called customer service and they told me the expected delivery date was the first week of October..... is everyone waiting 2 months on these things?

And yes I get it COVID. I wasn’t in a position were I could ask additional questions but I plan on calling them back later this week.
Any similar experiences?

 

In January, when I ordered my Leer shell, I was told 6-8 weeks. It ended up arriving in 5 weeks. From what I understand, the manufactures make them once the order comes in, then won't ship until they have a trailer full.

 

I guess I wouldn’t have thought the same rules apply for softoppers... but I guess maybe they do

 

just ordered mine today and was told by CS new inventory batch arrives this weekend

When I ordered mine, they said 2 months, then it showed up 3 days later..

 

Hey any updates on your bestop order ? My aug 10th order says same ordered and nothing more!

 

Website still only says “ordered”.

I tried calling them yesterday to check. I had to leave a message and no return call yet. Maybe I’ll try calling again today

 

Just called and they said they expect a delivery on the second week of September

 

Just received an email saying the topper has shipped

 

Awesome I’ve been contacted as well I’m on the October batch List. I did secure a 10% discount tho
