I ended up getting velcro for underneath and some aluminum to sandwich it down. I had a piece of aluminum lying around and it doesn't go all the way across, maybe 2" short on each side. Painted it black and called it a day. I have some cheapy Harbor Freight spring clamps holding them down for now until I get the clamps from Bestop.

The best part about it was I didn't have to alter my Hi-Lift mount and bed lights because the clamps go right into the rail system.

Nice thats pretty much what I did on the bulkhead. My angle stock is a couple inches shorther on each side and I used some C clamps I had laying around until I get the clamps from Bestop

Are the 2 bestop clamps good enough for the front? I was thinking of using the 2 bestop clamps on the outsides and then 2 c-clamps in the middle

I am only using 2 C clamps and it hasn't come lose. 4 clamps would not hurt though.

I just installed my Supertop tonight. Seems very well built, and very solid. But I noticed the font and rear of the rails are lifting up off the box rails leaving a decent gap on all four corners. I have put the clamps as close to the rail edges as possible. Will the tension ease up a bit after the canopy has stretched a bit? or do the rails need to move closer the together?
I can take some pics tomorrow, getting late now.

Got my supertop on a few days ago, fixed the issue of the raising corners with some stainless bolts. It's a bit of a different install due to my rack, but a piece of 3/16 aluminum made sure everything was flush.

Installed my Bestop for the first time last week.

The instructions were horrible and the initial setup was an absolute headache, but now that I got the installation out of the way I love it!

It's a great product and was definately worth the money. Thinking of getting some more clamps though!

Anyone got any pics of them folded down? Wouldn't mind seeing how much space it takes with it folded down. Thanks guys, great thread.

EDIT: Disregard....found a pic on another Bestop thread.

If no one else jumps on this I'll try and upload sometime this week. Its not so much in bed length as it kind of cuts off the corners slightly. I can still fit dirt bikes and coolers and whatnot no problem though

I folded mine forward, had a half yard of pea gravel dumped in the bed, set the supertop back up and drove off. I love it.

sup. i been thinking about one allot. it would prob stay off most the time. well i think it will. and put on when i need to get stuff in the rain or trips to NY. we go about once a year and have to put everything in all these bags just incase we hit rain or snow. would be nice to just throw in the bed and go. never have had anything stolen out of open bed on tundra. so not to worried about not locking stuff up.

at first I was thinking I'd only put it up when I needed it. But when I actually needed it, it was cold outside and it was a bitch to put on. Now I just leave it on lol
