Anyone know if a mountain bike(s) will fit under a bestop folder if I am using a tailgate pad? I am looking to improve my truck camping game, but gotta be able to bring the steed along.

I've seen it done with the dropper posts collapsed. It's still quite a chore to get more than one bike in their with the tail gate up.

Hey you guys with a Softopper, how much of a PIA is it to open and close the side flap in the cold?

I had a Best Top a while back and that was tough when it was cold.

I have an aux fuel tank in the bed that I'd have to open the side flap on the drivers side to fill often. That's why I ask.

Can any of these be used with a cross box? I use my truck for construction and am always getting things in and out of it, but occasionally needs more room than a solid cap would give me. TIA

I was afraid of that. Thanks. Will probably have to get rid of it eventually but I really like it for now.

Opening is easy, closing it's a bitch. I don't open when it's cold. Warm weather is no problem

Anybody know if you can fit a back rack behind a soft top and the soft top still be functional?

For anyone reading this Bestop's are POS. Windows crack in cold temperatures after a few years of use. Terrible closing mechanism of the back flap. And the front of it has worn away the paint below the back window. F'in hate it.

This fas-top product seems interesting, but their website is a little bit vague on details. All black hardware is a plus to me, and I appreciate that its all US made. The parent company appears to be experienced in the commercial trucking tarp business.

Bumping this for anybody that has more info on it!

Just found out about Fas-Top today and I'm very interested. Not too many reviews out there yet. Seems to be very good quality.

Making up another's mind is easy. What do you see yourself doing with a fabric cap? What are your goals with it?

    Go with the softopper. Bestop
Softopper hands down. Looks rugged with the no windows and safari style. ST also doesnt have that pronounced middle hump like the BT so it has a more streamline look with the cab height. Coming from a current Jeep owner with a softop, those windows are hard to clean over time and deem worthless once visibility is permanently impaired.
