Read through this thread and lots of great info! I am currently in the market and now it looks like Bestop has a Super Top 2 that uses solid fabric side panels as well as other improvements. Anyone have any experience with this new version from Bestop? Seems like the changes address the cracked side window problems of the past super top and they include a storage bag for the side panels and a cover for when it’s folded that also stores those side panels. The back corner retainers look like the same set up I had on Jeep’s of the past.

I'm a long bed BesTop owner, old style. Finding a NIB at 50% off tipped me to it, I was leaning SofTopper for some of the reasons mentioned. I like the cleaner visual profile of the SofTopper. Since having the BesTop I'm impressed with the quality, and I prefer the tailgate interface and the side rails to the SofTopper. Seeing the changes they've made to the new version, and knowing what I do now, I'd likely go BesTop again if paying full price.

That middle hump isn't so bad.

That is a mighty sweet looking Acc Cab you got there. Looks classically stock. You are to be commended for your style of ownership.

Nice setup . I bought mines at full price and if I had to do it again I'd buy it again lol. I know many don't like the windows but I love them.
