    looks cool, but not needed. They might give more travel or clearance for shocks. It's a marketing ploy to get all the people who have the UCA's to buy the new lowers. I bet they cost $1500 :eek:

    Had tons on the old Taco's.... new Tundra is pretty stock
    Those are probably the extended lowers that are part of the Long Travel kit.......

    hmm looked at their site and says they're stock length. Those seem a bit unnecessary to me unless they still give extra travel over the stock ones.

    well just install the UCA they move the tire way far back into the wheel well so as that the tire is not even close to being centered. This is not only ugly, but causes the tire to rub badly on the rear of the fender flare and even the fender it self.
    Maybe these move the bottom part forward a smidge so as that the tire is centered again, I know you would a ton of caster this way, but that may not be a bad thing.

    Not really an economy thing. It's just that few people around here see terrain that'll cave their stock LCAs.

    Yeah, about those... ;)

    Actually, I did have quite an adventure pulling the stock LCA from the passenger side. The bolt and alignment cams seized inside the LCA and would move as the suspension cycled. I ended up cutting off the lower suspension and now need to figure out how to straighten the alignment cam tabs so they can be gusseted in place.

    Fortunately those skids are perfectly intact. :D

    I just noticed that those TC LCAs look pre-drilled to accept the Light Racing jounce shock strikers.

    Definitely meant for the light desert 'wheeler looking to knock around without breaking the bank or his junk. Pretty cool!

    I called them to see if they do offer any benefit other than being beefy and looking cool, the answer was no. They have the same alignment specs and offer the same amount of travel. They seem to be a waste of money to me then. I would rather get the all pro mid travel kit, seems you get more for your money with that setup.
